Editorial policy

Kakous editorial policy is built on firsthand testing and transparent sourcing. We choose products based on reader interest, market relevance, and our ability to test them thoroughly.

We do not accept payment for reviews. We do not accept free products for review. If we receive a product from a manufacturer for a giveaway, we disclose it and keep it separate from our review queue.

Our editors have no financial relationships with the brands we cover. Affiliate links are the only commercial element on the site, and they never influence scores. We correct errors promptly and clearly.

We are a small editorial team that buys and tests gear.
